BEGINNING OBEDIENCE

6-week course for dogs 4 months & up.* $275

*To take this class, your dog must be comfortable/friendly around other dogs and people, with no aggression or excessive barking.

 

Whether you’re starting with a new dog, or want to get on a better path with your old friend, this six-week class will get you well on your way. This is the kind of training that’s so fun, your dog won’t even realize it’s actually work. We’ll get you all set up with management techniques and show you how to get your dog to follow your lead. We’ll cover:​

• Name recognition

• Sit & down

• Watch (attention on you)

• Come when called

• Loose-leash walking

• Leave it & drop

• Stay & wait

• Sit for guests (off)

• Settle/self-control

• Management & exercise tips

 

First class is a people-only orientation that lasts up to an hour and a half. The following sessions are one hour each.
